Kom­pe­ten­si/Com­pe­ten­ci­es

Memi­li­ki kemam­pu­an dalam: (1) mema­ha­mi hake­kat pene­li­ti­an seba­gai meto­de ilmi­ah,            (2) mema­ha­mi kedu­duk­an dan fung­si pene­li­ti­an seba­gai waha­na pengem­bang­an ilmu penge­ta­hu­an dan tek­no­lo­gi, dan untuk mene­muk­an solu­si atas masa­lah-masa­lah kema­nu­si­a­an dan pem­ba­ngun­an, (3) meng­i­den­ti­fi­ka­si dan meng­a­na­li­sis masa­lah pene­li­ti­an ber­da­sark­an rujuk­an yang relev­an dan muta­khir,  (4) meran­cang pene­li­ti­an sesu­ai dengan sifat per­ma­sa­lah­an dan karak­te­ris­tik sasar­an pene­li­ti­an  dengan pro­se­dur yang baik dan benar, (5) meng­ko­mu­ni­ka­sik­an hasil ran­cang­an  pene­li­ti­an sesu­ai dengan kai­dah pela­por­an ilmiah./Having abi­li­ti­es: (1) To comp­re­hend the natu­re of rese­ar­ch as a sci­en­ti­fic app­ro­a­ch, (2) To  comp­re­hend  the posi­tion and the fun­ction of rese­ar­ch in the deve­lo­pment of sci­en­ce and tech­no­lo­gy, and in the effor­ts for  fin­ding solu­tions of huma­nis­tic pro­blems and deve­lo­pment, (3) to iden­ti­fy and ana­lyze rese­ar­ch pro­blems based on rele­vant and cur­rent refe­ren­ces, (4) to design stu­di­es in acco­rdan­ce with the natu­re of the pro­blems and the rese­ar­ch obje­cti­ves using sui­ta­ble  and cor­re­ct pro­ce­du­res, (6) to com­mu­ni­ca­te the design of the rese­ar­ch stu­dy in acco­rdan­ce with the rules of sci­en­ti­fic repor­ting.

Bah­an Kajian/Sub­je­ct Mat­ters

Kon­sep, prin­sip, kai­dah dan nor­ma meto­de ilmi­ah dan pene­ra­pan­nya dalam pelak­sa­na­an pene­li­ti­an kua­li­ta­tif dan pene­li­ti­an kuan­ti­ta­tif yang meli­pu­ti: iden­ti­fi­ka­si dan per­u­mus­an masa­lah pene­li­ti­an, kaji­an pustaka/teori, vari­a­bel pene­li­ti­an, per­u­mus­an hipo­te­sis, ran­cang­an atau desa­in pene­li­ti­an, popu­la­si dan sam­pel, instru­men pene­li­ti­an, pengum­pul­an dan ana­lisis data, penyu­sun­an usul­an pene­li­ti­an  sesu­ai dengan kai­dah penu­lis­an ilmiah./Con­cep­ts, prin­ci­ples, rules and norms of the sci­en­ti­fic method and the­ir appli­ca­tion in qua­li­ta­ti­ve and quan­ti­ta­ti­ve rese­ar­ch, inclu­ding: iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and for­mu­la­tion of rese­ar­ch pro­blems, lite­ra­tu­re review/theory, defi­ni­tion of vari­a­ble, for­mul­tion of hypo­the­sis, rese­ar­ch design, popu­la­tion and sam­ple, rese­ar­ch instru­men­ts, colle­ction and ana­lysis of data, desig­ning a rese­ar­ch pro­po­sal in acco­rdan­ce with the rules of sci­en­ti­fic wri­ting.

Tujuan/ Obje­cti­ves

Sete­lah meng­i­ku­ti per­ku­li­ah­an, mela­kuk­an dis­ku­si, mem­ba­ca lite­ra­tur dari ber­ba­gai sum­ber bela­jar, maha­sis­wa memi­li­ki kemam­pu­an dalam: (1) Mema­ha­mi hake­kat, prin­sip, kai­dah dan nor­ma dalam pene­li­ti­an pen­di­dik­an kimia/sains, (2) Meng­i­den­ti­fi­ka­si dan meru­musk­an per­ma­sa­lah­an dan isu-isu pem­be­la­jar­an kimia, (3) Meng­a­na­li­sis ber­ba­gai lite­ra­tur yang relev­an dan menu­lisk­an hasil kaji­an dalam ben­tuk penu­lis­an ilmi­ah,                       (4) Men­de­fi­ni­sik­an vari­a­bel dan meru­musk­an hipo­te­sis pene­li­ti­an kuan­ti­ta­tif,                               (5) Men­de­sa­in pene­li­ti­an kua­li­ta­tif dan kuan­ti­ta­tif, (6) Menen­tuk­an popu­la­si, sam­pel dan par­ti­sip­an dalam pene­li­ti­an kuan­ti­ta­tif dan kua­li­ta­tif, (7) Meng­em­bangk­an instru­men pene­li­ti­an dan cara pengum­pul­an dan ana­li­sis data kuan­ti­ta­tif dan kua­li­ta­tif,                                (8) Mema­ha­mi cara mela­kuk­an pene­li­ti­an tin­dak­an kelas (class­ro­om action rese­ar­ch),                (9) Mema­ha­mi meto­de pene­li­ti­an rese­ar­ch and deve­lo­pment (R & D), (10) Meran­cang usul­an pene­li­ti­an dengan meng­i­ku­ti kai­dah penu­lis­an ilmiah./By having a lectu­re, discus­sion, revi­ew lite­ra­tu­re from vari­o­us sour­ces, stu­den­ts sho­u­ld be able to: (1) comp­re­hend the natu­re, prin­ci­ples, and rules in chemistry/science edu­ca­tion rese­ar­ch, (2) iden­ti­fy and for­mu­la­te pro­blems and issu­es in che­mis­try lear­ning, (3) ana­lyze seve­ral rele­vant lite­ra­tu­res and wri­te the result of stu­dy in sci­en­ti­fic paper, (4) defi­ne vari­a­ble and for­mu­la­te the hypo­the­sis of quan­ti­ta­ti­ve rese­ar­ch, (5) design quan­ti­ta­ti­ve and qua­li­ta­ti­ve rese­ar­ch,                    (6) deter­mi­ne popu­la­tion, sam­ple and par­ti­ci­pan­ts in quan­ti­ta­ti­ve and qua­li­ta­ti­ve rese­ar­ch, (7) deve­lop the rese­ar­ch instru­ment and how to colle­ct and ana­lyze quan­ti­ta­ti­ve and qua­li­ta­ti­ve data, (8) unders­tand the method of class­ro­om action rese­ar­ch, (9) unders­tand the method of rese­ar­ch & deve­lo­pment (R & D) design, (10) design the rese­a­ch pro­po­sal using sci­en­ti­fic rules
